Columbia, Mo. -
Tiger fans, it's time to rock the vote as one of your favorite players is up for a pair of national weekly awards. Sophomore WR/KR/PR Jeremy Maclin has been nominated for both the Pontiac Game-Changing Performance of the Week, as well as the AT&T National Player of the Week Award, for his outing last night that helped the 6th-ranked Tigers to a 52-42 win over 20th-ranked Illinois. In the game, Maclin amassed 234 all-purpose yards, and he became only the 2nd player in Mizzou history to achieve two career kickoff returns for a touchdown, as he took a 2nd-quarter kickoff 99 yards for a TD to erase a brief Illinois lead and give MU the lead back for good. Maclin had 201 return yards in all, including 145 yards on three kickoff returns (48.33 avg.) and 56 yards on four punt returns (14.00 avg.). Maclin took a 3rd-quarter punt return 46 yards to set up a Tiger TD that extended MU's lead to 45-20 at the time.
