Randy Moehlman, a 1994 graduate of the University of Missouri, has been named the new public address announcer for the 2010 Mizzou football season.

Moehlman brings a wealth of experience to Mizzou, most notably serving as the public address announcer for the River City Rascals, a Frontier League professional baseball team located in O'Fallon, Mo., since 2007. In addition, he has been an announcer for multiple sports at Webster Groves High School and has done voice-over work for various companies throughout Missouri.

He currently works in the brokerage services industry and resides in Shrewsbury, Mo., with his wife and three children.

"It is an honor to be named the new public address announcer for Mizzou, my alma mater," Moehlman said. "I am following two legends in Randy Wright and Jim Hall. I only hope that I can not only succeed in this role, but have the longevity that those two men had before me. They were iconic voices in the rich gameday tradition that is Mizzou football. The role of public address announcer is vital to the gameday experience of any football fan in attendance and I plan on being able to contribute to that experience for every Tiger football fan this fall."

Moehlman replaces Randy Wright, who became the Executive Director - Division of Multi-Media Properties at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
