BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Mizzou Football saw three members of head coach Gary Pinkel's squad voted to the 2014 SEC Coaches Preseason All-SEC Teams, as announced by the league office Thursday. Junior C Evan Boehm (Lee's Summit, Mo.) and senior DE Markus Golden (St. Louis, Mo.) were selected to the Second Team, while junior PK Andrew Baggett (Lee's Summit, Mo.) was named to the Third Team.

Boehm enters his junior season in the Black & Gold riding a streak of 26 consecutive starts, including 14 last season at center. He helped dictate the Tigers' efforts in the trenches as Mizzou's rushing offense (237.9 yards per game) ranked second in the SEC and 16th nationally. Boehm is on the Rimington Trophy's Fall Watch List, the award presented annually to the most outstanding center in college football.

Golden has been named to preseason watch lists for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy (top defensive player) and Chuck Bednarik Award (college defensive player of the year) after an impressive junior campaign in 2013. While playing in just 40 percent of the team's defensive snaps, Golden led his position group in tackles with 55 stops. He recorded 13 tackles-for-loss and 6.5 sacks, as well as eight quarterback hurries, two fumble recoveries and one interception.

Baggett led Mizzou with his 120 points last season, which is the fourth-highest single-season total in school history. The Tiger kicker successfully hit on 18-of-25 field goal attempts and 66-of-69 PATs. Baggett converted four-straight field goals to close the season, with two each in the SEC Championship Game and the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic.
