COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Mizzou Tiger football team held its first major scrimmage of its 2009 training camp Saturday morning on Faurot Field. Before a crowd of over 1,000 fans, the offense claimed a 54-31 victory.
Mizzou will open up its home portion of the 2010 season on Sept. 11 by hosting McNeese State at Faurot Field at 6 p.m. A special Kickoff 4-Pack for that game will go on sale on Friday. This special discount gives fans an opportunity to purchase four South Endzone Tickets for only $100. The offer will go on sale on mutigers.com at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 27.

Blaine Gabbert led an effective day for the top offense, as he threw for 208 yards and three touchdowns, while reserve quarterbacks James Franklin and Ashton Glaser both threw and ran for a score apiece.
The popular X's & O's Clinic hosted by Mizzou returns again this year. The 2010 clinic will take place Saturday, Aug. 28 in the LeMone Tiger Lounge at Memorial Stadium. The X's & O's Clinic will once again be hosted by Vicki Pinkel and Rockie Alden.
