Kansas City, Mo. promoter RCA Group, Inc. has confirmed that the football game hosted by Arkansas State University against the University of Missouri will remain on Saturday, September 3, 2005. The NCAA Division I season opener for both teams will kick off at 11:00 a.m. at Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium, marking the first time either team has played at the venue.

It had been rumored that the game would be moved to Monday night, September 5, 2005. "It was a very attractive game for television.
