Football Season Ticket FAQ's
When will we learn if our waiting list application has been accepted?
Our ticket office is currently completing the season ticket renewal process and making any requested seating adjustments. Once that process is complete it will begin working on the waiting list applicants.
Will single-game seats be available this season?
At this point it is too early to determine. Season ticket demand is at an all-time high and season ticket purchasers will get top priority. While general admission seats and spots on the hill will likely be available for select games, the only way to guarantee a reserved seat for premium games (including Homecoming) will be to purchase season tickets.
How will students be impacted by this increased ticket demand?
The demand amongst our student population has been equally impressive and in an effort to meet that demand we have increased our student ticket allotment by nearly 1,000 seats. We have the best student section in America and it will be even bigger and better in 2012.
What is the purpose of the wait list and if I sign up, will I get tickets?
The purpose of the wait list was to create a reservation of sorts for those interested in becoming season ticket holders for the first time. We do anticipate being able to accommodate most members that are currently on the wait list and we strongly encourage fans to continue to join if they are interested in tickets for 2012 and beyond.
Fans can join the wait list online at mutigers.com/buytickets.
So are season tickets sold out?
We are not sold out and encourage fans to continue signing up to the wait list. We will work diligently to get each member of the wait list the season tickets they requested for 2012.
How can we increase our chances of becoming first time season ticket holders?
Join the Tiger Scholarship Fund. For as little as $50 a year, you can begin earning priority points and earn the opportunity to improve your seat and parking location with increased donation levels. TSF members will receive priority on ticket requests.
In years past I have purchased mini-plans, will those be available once again?
Due to a sharp increase in demand we do not anticipate offering any mini-plan packages. The best way to get a seat to any game in 2012 is by signing up to the waiting list for season tickets.
When do non-conference single-game and SEC game tickets go on sale?
Non-conference single-game seats are scheduled to go on sale July 27 (depending on availability), but we have no date scheduled for SEC single-game sales. If SEC single-game seats become available Tiger Scholarship Fund members will have priority to purchase those seats.
