COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou Athletics will begin a 10-week social media countdown leading up to the start of Football Fall practice. The campaign, which begins June 10, gives Tiger fans the opportunity to win tickets, prizes, see pictures and get some new tailgating recipes for the upcoming 2013 football season.
Each weekday has its own theme starting with:
Fans can Tweet and Facebook their favorite picture memories to Mizzou Athletics for potential Retweeting and use on the website. Mizzou Athletics wants to see you with your favorite Tiger, either current or from your childhood. Parents are also encouraged to use this opportunity to show off the fun you and your children have on game days at The ZOU!
Please use the hashtag #MIZMemorieswhen Tweeting your photos, and/or share them to our Facebook page.
For Pinterest users, break out your favorite tailgating pictures and recipes for a chance to win a Mizzou Oval Tiger Spatula from the Tiger Team Store. Simply Pin, Tweet or Facebook your favorite recipes and you could win some new tailgating "swag" for the 2013 Football Season!
Oh and the best part of this contest? If you win, you can officially call your recipes Award Winning!

A favorite contest of Tiger fans over the past year has been #MIZWhereAreYou. Fans are encouraged to send us their pictures wearing Mizzou Gear from all over the world. On a family vacation in Europe wearing your Black & Gold? Send us the picture! Visiting your grandparents in Tennessee? Send us the picture! Travel on the road to follow the Tigers last season? Send us that picture!
The best photos will be turned into a Facebook Gallery!\

Mizzou Athletics will tweet out pictures, videos, stories, etc of great Tiger Football moments from the past. While we send out some of our favorite memories, we want to hear from you and we'll share those with our Mizzou online community!

Who said scavenger hunts are just for kids? Mizzou Athletics will have its own scavenger hunt on Fridays and the winner gets some cool gear! How about free tickets, free autographs, a free parking pass, free concessions vouchers at Faurot Field or even a free family photo with Truman?
Mizzou Athletics will Tweet and Facebook out a reminder at 9 a.m. each Friday about the contest and then at 11 a.m. will send out the first clue on where to find the Friday Prize.
The rules are simple, the first one to find the location of our Department Intern wins the prize! The winner will get their picture (with prize) taken and you get to head back to the office (or class) with a free prize courtesy of Mizzou Athletics!
When you see the Picture Tweet of the winner and Friday's prize, that day's contest will be complete! But you have 10 chances to win throughout the summer!
