COLUMBIA, Mo. - Less than two weeks after capturing a Cotton Bowl championship and securing a Top-5 national ranking, the University of Missouri Department of Athletics has finalized season ticket prices for the upcoming 2014 season - and prices will not go up from the 2013 season.
Mizzou will once again play one of the top home schedules in the SEC in 2014. The non-conference home slate is highlighted by visits from American Athletic Conference and Fiesta Bowl champion, Central Florida, and Big 10 Conference upstart Indiana. The season kicks off on August 30th against South Dakota State. The Southeastern Conference home schedule welcomes Eastern Division rivals Georgia, Vanderbilt and Kentucky before a season-ending appointment with border rival Arkansas. It will be the first visit by the Razorbacks to Columbia since Nov. 10, 1906.
For the third consecutive season general public season ticket prices will remain at $379, as will student tickets ($240 for football/basketball combo pack, $160 for football-only). In addition, per-seat TSF donations will remain at 2013 levels.
"We cannot say enough about the way our fans supported us throughout the historic 2013 season," said Deputy Athletic Director Doug Gillin. "That's why it is important for us to maintain our season ticket pricing and communicate that to our fans early in 2014, so they can make plans to join us for another exciting season of Mizzou football."
Other season ticket sections/pricing include:
- Tiger Zone (located in the south stands) $288
- Family Fun Pass $750
- Faculty/staff $288
- Young Alumni (the previous 3 graduating classes) $288
- Touchdown Terrace $800
- Tiger Lounge and Suites $500
- *New* East Side Upper Level $288
Current season ticket holders will receive renewal information in the mail in mid-February. Those interested in becoming new season ticket holders, can get their names added to a request list beginning this Friday, Jan. 17, at mutigers.com. Those requests will be processed after the ticket office has completed renewals and seating upgrade requests from current season ticket holders.
There is a $50/seat deposit required to join the football season ticket new request list. Some seat locations will require an annual per-seat donation to the Tiger Scholarship Fund. The full per-seat donation will be due at time of allocation, if applicable. YOUR TICKET DEPOSIT DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU SEASON TICKETS. If demand exceeds supply or you are not allocated tickets for any reason, your season ticket deposit will be refunded.
Fans can begin registering for the 2014 football season ticket new request list online-only at mutigers.com tonight (Friday, Jan. 17), beginning at 6:00 p.m. (CDT).
