Became a regular on the offensive line, and his presence went a long way toward solidifying what was a relatively inexperienced group coming into the season ... Played in all 12 games and started nine in all, including the first three of the season at weakside guard and the final five games of the year coming at strongside guard ... Helped pave the way for Missouri’s offensive output that resulted in the third-most points (360) scored in MU single-season history ... Named offensive co-player of the week four times on the season, winning the award for his efforts against Troy State, Texas Tech, Kansas and Texas A&M.

His 9.3 tackles-per game average is currently 2nd-best in the Big 12 Conference, and 30th-best in the NCAA, while he also ranks 29th in the nation with his 1.25 tackles for loss average.
