A very talented cornerback and kick returner who has rejoined the team after a year off due to disciplinary reasons ... Is on the team as a walk-on, and is working to earn a scholarship ... Had a solid redshirt freshman season in 2004 that saw him contribute primarily as a standout on special teams ... Opens spring camp listed at No. 5 on the depth chart at one of the cornerback positions, and is hoping to move his way up the chart.


Did not play on the year, as he was dismissed from the team for disciplinary reasons ... Entered fall camp listed No. 3 on the depth chart at one of the cornerback spots ... Was a standout in the 2005 spring game, as he returned an interception 28 yards for a TD, and added a tackle for loss on the day.


Was a standout on special teams, as he registered a team-best 16 special teams tackles in 11 games ... Also returned kickoffs, and had a team-best average of 20.0 yards per return on 9 attempts, with a long of 31 yards at Baylor in which he was just a shoestring tackle away from breaking the distance for long TD ... Recorded a tackle in 8-of-11 games, and had a career-high 5 stops in an outstanding effort against Kansas ... Had three other multiple-tackle outings, including a 3-stop day against Kansas State, and 2 tackles each against Troy and Oklahoma State ... Twelve of his 16 tackles were solo stops ... Decided in the offseason to move to defense after spending his first year taking reps at tailback during the season ... Recorded a sack in the Black and Gold Game, to close out the spring practice period.


Redshirt season ... Had surgery late in the season to repair a torn pectoral muscle he suffered in the weight room ... Had fun helping run security during practices at Independence Stadium in Shreveport, La., as Mizzou prepared for its bowl game against Arkansas.


An all-district performer at both tailback and defensive back who helped lead Mesquite into the 2002 playoffs ... Had 405 yards rushing and 6 TDs as a senior, and added 5 catches for 147 yards and 3 TDs in Mesquite's wishbone attack ... A dangerous kick returner who ran back a 94-yard kickoff return against South Garland that proved to be the game-winner ... Ran for 720 yards as a junior in 2001, and was a key member of Mesquite's team which won the Texas Class 5A state championship ... A track standout who has been clocked at 10.7 seconds in the 100 meters, and 21.8 in the 200 meters ... High school coach - Steve Halpin.
