2011 SEASON
Talented safety who should see his playing time increase now that he's in his third year with the program ... Lines up at free safety, where he begins camp listed 2nd on the depth chart, after playing in 13 games a year ago ... Made 3 tackles in the Black & Gold Game to close out spring camp.
2010 SEASON
Saw action in all 13 games, making 18 tackles ... Recorded a season-best 5 tackles against Miami (Ohio) ... Had a pair of stops vs. Colorado and made a tackle in each of the next two games (vs. Texas A&M and Oklahoma) .. Had a 2-stop game against Texas Tech and added a pair of tackles in the shutout of Iowa State and also made 2 stops vs. Iowa in the bowl game.
2009 SEASON
Showed himself to be a very fluid athlete throughout the course of the year as he worked hard during practices while gaining an opportunity to further develop his physical skills in a redshirt season.
HIGH SCHOOL
Won team MVP honors as a senior for his season that included 58 tackles and seven interceptions ... Also earned Second-Team All-State honors as a safety in Class 5A, and took home First-Team All-District honors on the field, while earning Academic All-State mention for his work in the classroom ... Was a two-time team captain ... Ended his prep career in style, as he made a season-high 10 tackles and grabbed two interceptions to help lead his team to a 21-13 win over Fossil Ridge, that sewed up a 7-3 season for Keller ... Notched 46 tackles and two interceptions as a junior, while making 40 tackles and grabbing two interceptions as a sophomore during the 2006 season ... High school coach - Kevin Atkinson.
