2013 OUTLOOK

An exciting tailback prospect who has a unique combination of size, speed and strength, and who, at 215 pounds, gives a bigger look than the other Tiger backs ... Opens camp listed at No. 4 on the tailback depth.

2012 SEASON

Saw action in two games, getting two carries total for eight yards in the season opener against Southeastern Louisiana ... Also saw the field in reserve action in the season finale at Texas A&M ... Showed some impressive abilities in the spring, and he closed camp by gaining 20 yards on 5 carries in the Black & Gold Game.

2011 SEASON

Got his first collegiate playing time, getting in for snaps in four games in all ... Most extensive action came against Western Illinois, when he carried 10 times for 36 yards, and broke off a career-long 17-yarder at one point ... Also made his first career reception out of the backfield in that game, taking it for a 13-yard gain ... Carried once for 2 yards against Iowa State, and also got in for action against Oklahoma and North Carolina ... Changed his jersey to #24 after wearing #40 his first year in the program...

2010 SEASON

Redshirted in his first season in the program, and displayed that he's got an ability to be a solid contributor in years to come ... Showed a great work ethic that twice won him the team's offensive back-up player of the week award, for his practice efforts the week of games against McNeese State and Colorado.

HIGH SCHOOL

Gifted athlete who excelled on both sides of the ball at De Queen High School as a running back as well as a defensive end ... Has a physical running style which reminds observers of a power running back, but also has displayed excellent quickness, vision and athleticism ... Ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 15 overall prospect at any position coming out of the state of Arkansas ... A two-time All-State and three-time All-Conference performer as a running back, who also earned honors for his play on defense ... Ran for 1,240 yards and 25 touchdowns during his senior season, averaging 9.0 yards per carry on the way ... Had 1,406 yards from scrimmage and 23 TDs during his junior season, and posted 1,002 yards as a sophomore ... A three-sport standout who also lettered in basketball and track and field for his school ... Earned all-state honors on the hardwood, and who has set a school record for most double-doubles in a season - averaged 21 points and 11 rebounds per game as a junior ... High school coach - Chris Vereen.
