In his second year on the Mizzou Football staff is Offensive Graduate Assistant Drew White. A native of Harrisonville, Mo., White plays a vital role with the high-octane Tiger offensive attack, and holds many responsibilities throughout the course of the year, just a few of which include assisting the offensive coaching staff with scouting, game planning and game preparation duties. Other tasks he's involved with include various practice and game-day responsibilities, among others.
White came to Mizzou prior to the 2010 season, shortly after he earned his undergraduate degree in physical education from William Jewell College, where he was an all-conference offensive lineman and a team captain. After his graduation, White joined the staff at Mizzou after working the Tiger Football summer camps that June. He spent the 2010 season as the program's offensive quality control graduate assistant, a position that saw him assist the coaching staff with various recruiting administrative duties throughout the year, as well as lending a hand with scouting and game preparation efforts.
White was a standout offensive lineman for Harrisonville High School, and he played on teams which won state championships in both 2003 and 2005, while finishing as runners-up in 2004. He was twice named a 1st-Team All-State performer (2004 and 2005), and was also a 1st-Team All-Metro performer as a senior team captain in 2005.
White is pursuing his master's degree in health education and promotion at Mizzou, and is scheduled to complete that work in the summer of 2012.
