Mizzou heads to College Station for the third straight year
2013 OUTLOOK
Highly-touted receiver who transferred to Mizzou prior to the 2012 season, after spending his first two years at Texas ... Will have two years of eligibility remaining beginning in 2013 ... Showed considerable skills throughout the year working with the scout team, and he's ready to show what he can do while competing for playing time this year ... Opens spring camp listed at No. 3 on the depth chart at the Z-receiver position.
2012 SEASON
Sat out the 2012 season, per NCAA transfer rules ... Took part in spring drills in 2012 and made one catch in the Black & Gold Game to close out his first spring camp with the Tiger program.
TEXAS
Played in 21 games over two years at Texas ... Caught 5 passes for 66 yards for the Longhorns in 11 games as a sophomore in 2011, after making 1 catch for 5 yards in 10 outings as a true freshman in 2010 ... Saw the field against Mizzou in 2011 in the Tigers' 17-5 win over Texas in Columbia, but did not record any statistics ... Got his first collegiate score on a 31-yard touchdown reception in a 52-20 win over Texas Tech in Austin in 2011.
HIGH SCHOOL
Was a Parade All-American and a 1st-Team All-USA pick by USA Today who was ranked as the No. 3 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 20 overall prospect at any position in the country by ESPN ... Made 93 catches for 2,293 yards and 35 touchdowns in his final three seasons at Dunbar ... Played in the 2010 Under Armour All-America Game, catching an 11-yard touchdown pass and returning a punt 35 yards for a touchdown ... Was also a three-year letterman in basketball, winning All-District honors as a senior, as well as being selected as the district MVP as a junior, in addition to being a three-year letterman in track and field ...
