Homestate defensive line talent who looks to see the field in 2008 for the first time after redshirting a year ago in his first year at Mizzou after transferring in from the College of the Sequoias prior to the 2007 ... Looks to challenge for playing time at the tackle position, where he begins the spring season listed No. 2 on the depth chart, behind incumbent starter Ziggy Hood.

Redshirted in his first year in the program.

Originally signed with Mizzou out of Hazelwood East High School as part of the Tigers' 2005 recruiting class, before going the junior college route, where he spent 2 years at the College of the Sequoias ... Junior college coach - Mike Clemons.

Coming out of high school, was widely regarded as the No. 1 defensive line prospect out of the St. Louis area, and was ranked as the No. 16 overall prospect in the state of Missouri that year by Rivals ... Had 91 tackles and 6 QB sacks as a senior in 2004 and was named 1st-Team All-State, All-Metro and All-Conference as a defensive lineman ... Was also an All-Conference performer on the offensive line for Hazelwood East ... Had 90 tackles and 3 QB sacks as a junior in 2003 and earned All-Conference honors defensively while pulling in honorable mention All-Conference honors on offense ... High school coach - Cory Johnson.
