Talented athlete who will be in his second year as a wideout, after spending his first two years on defense ... Made the decision to line up at receiver after he wowed coaches and teammates as part of his work with the scout team in December of 2007 in preparations for the 2008 AT&T Cotton Bowl against Arkansas ... Played receiver and tailback on the scout team, and was impressive imitating Razorback star running back Darren McFadded ... Was unable to compete during spring drills due to a painful injury to his hip/groin area, and it's possible that he might not be able to play this season, either ... In spite of his inability to play in the spring, was seen every day on the practice field, helping in a coaching fashion to help his teammates improve.


Saw limited action in his first year as a receiver ... Made the move to receiver in the spring, and entered fall camp listed No. 2 on the depth chart at the H-receiver position behind returning All-American Jeremy Maclin ... Was impressive during spring camp, and showed that he could contribute in 2008 to MU's high-flying offense, as he closed the spring session by catching 6 passes for 51 yards in the Black & Gold scrimmage ... Changed his jersey number this spring to 2 after wearing number 7 a season ago.

Spent his second year in the program continuing his development at the cornerback position ... Did not see the field as a redshirt freshman, but showed his considerable skills throughout the year during practices ... Changed his jersey number in the spring to 7 after wearing number 30 in 2006.

Redshirted in his first season in the program, working as part of the practice squad.

Versatile athlete who was an all-district quarterback at Dallas' South Oak Cliff High School ... Was a 2-year starter at signal caller, and was a team captain in both football and basketball ... Passed for over 1,000 yards and ran for over 300 as a senior, adding 10 passing TDs and 3 rushing scores that season ... As a junior, earned 2nd-Team All-District honors at QB after passing for over 1,200 yards (13 TDs) and rushing for over 500 more (6 TDs) ... Basketball team won a state championship as a junior ... High school coach - J.B. Wallace.
