2008 OUTLOOK
Rising talent at defensive end who looks to be one of the top players at that position in the Big 12 Conference as a senior, after winning 1st-Team All-Big 12 honors by multiple league media outlets a year ago ... Stands at No. 1 on the depth chart at one defensive end position heading into fall camp, and participated in spring drills despite having minor surgery in January to clean up a tweaked knee he injured in the Cotton Bowl victory ... With 25 career starts under his belt, he's got the most starting experience on the Tiger defensive line ... Is a high-energy player with a big motor and fearless demeanor ... Has added over 25 pounds to his frame since joining the program ... Submitted his name for consideration by the NFL Draft Advisory Committee, but eventually decided to return for his senior season at Mizzou instead of declaring for the Draft.

2007 SEASON
Had a break-out season as a junior, winning 1st-Team All-Big 12 honors from multiple media outlets for a season that saw him record 60 tackles and a team-best 11 tackles for loss (71 yards), while adding 6 QB sacks ... Also led the team with 4 forced fumbles as he was a constant disruptive force for opposing offenses ... Had a great performance to close the year in MU's Cotton Bowl victory over Arkansas, as he tied his season high with 6 tackles against the Razorbacks, adding 2 TFLs in the process as Mizzou shut down the normally potent Hog offense ... Recorded five tackles in season opener against Illinois ... Had a big QB sack in the third quarter for a loss of 14 yards on third down that led to a punt that was returned 66 yards for a TD by the Tigers Jeremy Maclin ... Had two tackles against Ole Miss and made six stops against Western Michigan ... Made two tackles for loss against WMU, totalling 16 yards ... Also had his eighth career sack against the Broncos ... Recorded his third sack of the year against Illinois State and had three tackles against ISU ... Had four stops vs. Nebraska ... Made four tackles against Oklahoma and forced a fumble in the first quarter that was recovered by MU's Darnell Terrell ... Intercepted his first career pass as he picked a deflected Graham Harrell pass out of the air and returned it 38 yards for the Tigers' first TD against Texas Tech ... Had four stops as the Tigers held the Red Raiders to just 10 points ... Made four tackles against Iowa State and had two sacks (totaling a loss of 19 yards), with one causing a fumble that was recovered in the ISU endzone by teammate Lorenzo Williams ... Recorded three tackles against Colorado ... Made six stops against Texas A&M and forced a fumble ... Recorded three tackles against Kansas State ... Also blocked a KSU extra point ... Made six tackles, including two TFLs and one sack, his sixth sack of the year against Kansas ... Was in on a safety in the final seconds of the game to seal the win over KU ... Made four stops against Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship.

2006 SEASON
Was a significant contributor in all 13 games on the year, starting 4 in all ... Had 51 total tackles, including 5.0 tackles for loss and 2 QB sacks, to go with 1 forced fumble, 3 recovered fumbles, 5 QB pressures and 5 passes broken up ... Role increased late in the year following the injury to alltime QB sacks leader Brian Smith, and his season tackles total ranked 3rd among MU defensive linemen and his 5 PBUs ended tied for 3rd on the squad overall ... Took over Smith's starting spot in game #9 against Oklahoma, and started games #10 and #11, in addition to starting the season opener opposite Smith against Murray State ... Has 11 career starts under his belt, with 7 coming during his redshirt freshman season last year ... Came off the bench in the Sun Bowl, but turned in a solid outing, recording 5 tackles, including 1 QB sack, and he also recovered a fumble ... Had 2 tackles, 1 QB pressure and 1 PBU at Texas Tech ... The pass break up was a key one that came on a 4th-down attempt by the Red Raiders inside the MU 10-yardline in the 4th quarter ... Enjoyed 5 tackles against Ohio and had 6 against both Murray State and Ole Miss ... Recorded a pair of TFLs vs. the Racers, including a sack ... Had 2 tackles and 2 QB pressures against Colorado ... Set a season-high with a 7-tackle outing against Kansas State, in a game where he recovered a fumble in the 4th quarter that helped seal the MU victory.

2005 SEASON
Very talented and athletic defensive end who emerged as a big playmaker in his first season on the field for the Tigers ... Shared the team's freshman of the year honors with TE Chase Coffman, and was named a 1st-Team Freshman All-Big 12 performer by the Sporting News ... Took over as the starter at one end spot for the final 7 games of the season ... Had 38 total tackles on the year, including 6.5 tackles for loss (42 yards) and 4 QB sacks (34 yards) ... Tied for 2nd on the team with 3 forced fumbles, as he forced a fumble each in three consecutive games against Nebraska, Kansas and Colorado ... His forced fumble at Colorado came on a QB sack of Joel Klatt that teammate Jamar Smith picked up early in the 3rd quarter and ran back 12 yards for a TD, while his forced fumble at Kansas led to MU's only score of the game ... Had 4 tackles against Iowa State in his first career start, and made that pay off, as he sacked ISU QB Bret Meyers on the game's 1st play from scrimmage ... Followed with 6-tackle outings in consecutive games against Nebraska and at Kansas ... Had a productive day at #24 Colorado, as he had 5 tackles and 2 TFLs in all ... Was credited with 2 tackles against #2 Texas, and one of those was an impressive QB sack of Heisman finalist Vince Young that went for a loss of 13 yards ... Looked to most observers to have been ready to contribute the previous year as a true freshman, but was able to take a redshirt year, thanks to MU's strong depth on the defensive line in 2004.

2004 SEASON
Redshirt season ... Made quite an impression during fall camp and throughout the season during practice, making big plays constantly.
