·2009 2nd-Team Academic All-Big 12

·2009 Team Walk-On Player of the Year Award

2010 SPRING OUTLOOK

Talented veteran receiver who has shown good toughness and pass-catching skills in his time in the program... Is a receiver by trade, but actually doesn't appear on the depth chart because he's focused his time on serving the vital role of holder for all Tiger placekicks, a job which he performed for the first time in 2009, and did so flawlessly ... Has served in past season on kick coverage units as well, but likely won't be in that role this year to keep him healthy for place holding ... Is a likely candidate to serve on the hands team in onside kick situations ... Is an outstanding student who earned 2nd-Team Academic All-Big 12 honors in 2009 for his efforts in the classroom.

2009 SEASON

Began the year in the depth at the H-receiver position, but eventually was designated to focus his efforts on serving as MU's primary place holder for kicks ... Performed flawlessly, and was a major reason why first-year kicker Grant Ressel was able to set an NCAA single-season accuracy record for combined kicks, as he made 65-of-66 kicks overall on the season ... Was named the team's Walk-On Player of the Year for his sterling efforts on the season ... Did a brilliant job of taking the snaps and getting the ball down on time ... Even got in on the scoring action himself at Colorado, when he shoveled a forward pass to Jacquies Smith on a fake field goal, and Smith went around left end for a 24-yard touchdown in the 2nd quarter ... That was his first career pass thrown, and the TD gives him a passer rating of 631.60 (although he is just slightly below the minimum number of pass attempts to qualify for any records!) ... Caught 3 passes for 28 yards in the Black & Gold Game to close spring camp.

2008 SEASON

Saw action in nine games on the season, as contributed both on offense and also as part of various special teams units ... Registered one tackle each on kick coverage squads against both Oklahoma and Northwestern ... Had a solid off-season and began fall camp listed No. 3 on the depth chart at the H-receiver position, after spring ball ... Caught 1 pass for a 13-yard gain to close the spring in the annual Black & Gold Game.

2007 SEASON

Sure-handed receiver who showed during 2007 spring camp that he can contribute if the opportunity presents itself ... Spent the year working as part of the Tiger offensive scout team, saw the field late in Tiger wins against Illinois State, Nebraska and Texas Tech.

HIGH SCHOOL

Three-sport standout at Camdenton R-III High School, where he helped lead his team to the 2005 Class 4 state championship ... Caught 2 TD passes in the title game (6 & 47 yards apiece) as Camdenton beat Affton, 36-19 for the title ... Had 6 catches in all on the day for a game-high 102 yards, and added 7.5 tackles on the defensive side ... Was an All-State selection as a linebacker as a senior, and was his team's most valuable player that year, as well ... Won All-State honors as a linebacker as a junior, and was an All-Conference pick in basketball, too ... Also lettered in track and basketball, and won numerous district and conference championships in the 110-meter hurdles - earned All-State status in that event as a sophomore ... High school coach - Bob Shore.

PERSONAL

Parents - Frank & Barbara Shock ... Is interested in studying finance and banking in Mizzou's School of Business, and follow in the footsteps of his father, who is a branch manager for a bank at the Lake of the Ozarks ... Chose Mizzou over Mississippi, Michigan State and Mississippi State.
