Got his first Division I playing action, as he carried 4 times for a net of 22 yards in 3 games ... Took the field for the first time against Southeast Missouri State, and carried twice for 16 yards total -- going for 8 yards on each tote of the rock ... Later had a 7-yard run in reserve duty in Mizzou's home finale victory over Kansas State.

Also started at defensive back and had 3 interceptions on the year ... Won 1st-Team All-State, All-District and All-Metro honors for his play that year, as well ... As a junior ran for 680 yards and grabbed 3 INTs on defense in just 4 games, before his season ended with a broken collar bone ... Averaged 12.5 yards per carry as a sophomore and added 60 tackles on defense ... Was a 1st-Team All-Conference and All-District performer in track in the long jump and triple jump events, and broke the school record in the long jump with a leap of 22-5 ...
