2003 SEASON
Had one of the most important roles on MU's special teams, as he served as the primary personal protector for the punt squad ... Recorded 4 tackles on special teams and also played in the Tiger secondary ... Registered tackles versus Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska and Texas Tech ... His stop against Illinois came late in the game on special teams, and was an outstanding open-field stop that quite likely prevented a game-changing return for the Illini.
2002 SEASON
Played in all 12 games as a redshirt freshman, seeing significant time on special teams ... Primary role was that of the up-back for punt protection ... Recorded nine tackles on the season, and had highs of two each in games against Ball State and at Iowa State ... Also had a single tackle in five other contests ... Earned the team Big Hit Award for a shot he delivered against Oklahoma.
