2004 OUTLOOK

Experienced and proven running back who will help provide depth to a talented group of running backs ... Missed the spring practice period due to a knee injury he suffered in practice in Shreveport, La., while preparing for the 2003 Independence Bowl ... Had surgery in January and will be full strength by the time fall camp opens in August ... Was actually cleared to do light practicing toward the latter part of the spring practice period.

2003 SEASON

Gave MU a solid and reliable No. 3 back and also served as MU's No. 2 option on the kickoff return team ... Rushed for 99 yards and 1 TD on 13 carries and had 1 reception for 11 yards ... His 7.6 average per rush was a team best ... Had 4 carries for 39 yards in the regular-season finale versus Iowa State, including a 16-yard TD in the 4th quarter to cap the scoring in MU's 45-7 victory ... Had 3 carries for 40 yards in game #3 versus Eastern Illinois, including a season-long 31-yard run ... Averaged 18.0 yards on 12 kickoff returns (216 yards) and had a long of 29, at Kansas.

2002 SEASON

Played in 10 games as a sophomore and ranked 4th on the squad with 104 rushing yards ... Carried 27 times on the year, and averaged 3.9 yards per carry ... Notched his first career TD at Texas Tech, after Zack Abron went down with an injury ... Scored from 1-yard out in the 4th quarter at Tech to pull the Tigers to within 44-31 with 9 minutes left in the game ... Finished the night with 36 yards rushing on 6 carries ... Followed with a season-high 45 yards rushing on 11 carries the next week versus Kansas, helping the Tigers defeat the rival Jayhawks in the 2002 Homecoming game ... Continued to return kickoffs for the team, and ranked 2nd on the squad with 11 attempts for 224 yards - an average of 20.4 per return.

2001 SEASON

Got his feet wet as a true freshman, one of only four true freshmen to play under first-year Head Coach Gary Pinkel ... Rushed for 172 yards on 44 carries, good for a per-carry average of 3.9 yards ... Also performed double duty by returning 7 kickoffs for a solid average of 23.3 yard per try ... Rushed for a career-high 74 yards on 13 carries in his collegiate debut against Southwest Texas ... Led Mizzou's running backs in rushing against Baylor, with 57 yards on 12 attempts ... Carried 7 times for 43 yards against Kansas State.

One of the top running back talents in the state of Missouri, who ranked among the top 85 nationally, according to Rivals.com ... Ranked as the 14th-best running back in the Midlands by Prep Star ... Named the Offensive Player of the Year by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and St. Louis Argus ... Was also tabbed the Metro Player of the Year and first-team all-state ...
