    2007 SEASON
    Saw action in a career-high 10 games on the season ... Played one snap in the season opener against Illinois, filling in for an injured Chase Daniel before Daniel was able to return ... Was 3-of-5 passing for 19 yards against Western Michigan ... Also ran twice for 21 yards, including runs of 21 yards and 18 yards against WMU ... The 18-yard run went for a touchdown, the first TD of his Tiger career ... Completed two passes for 33 yards, including a 22-yarder against Illinois State ... An outstanding student who was a first-team academic All-Big 12 honoree.

    2006 SEASON
    Served as a reserve for the season ... Was the No. 3 quarterback all season, and saw action in 1 game on the year, getting some snaps in game #2 against Ole Miss.

    2005 OUTLOOK
    Did not see game action during the season ... Made strides during his first spring practice period, and entered fall camp listed at No. 3 on the depth chart ... Had strong practices in December while the Tigers prepared for the Independence Bowl ... Changed his jersey number to 14 from 4 just after spring practice started.

    Redshirt season ... Showed his considerable skills during fall camp and throughout the season, working on the scout team.

    One of the most highly-coveted quarterback prospects in the nation who chose to play for his hometown school ... A record-setting passer who ranked as the No. 4 quarterback and the No. 69 overall prospect at any position nationally by Rivals.com ... Named an all-American by both EA Sports and PrepStar as a senior when he completed 176-of-276 passes for 2,630 yards and 30 touchdowns and an 8-2 record ... Named the Gatorade Missouri Player of the Year in 2003 ... Threw for a career-best 367 yards against Springfield Kickapoo in 2003, and set another school record with 6 TD passes against Hannibal ... Threw for a school-record 2,670 yards as a junior with 23 TDs, as he led Rock Bridge (8-4 overall) to the semi-finals of the state championships ... Named team's newcomer of the year as a sophomore when he led the Bruins to a 6-4 record and a conference championship ... Holds Rock Bridge career passing records for yards (6,251), completions (431) and touchdowns (58) ... Also holds school game and single-season records in all three categories ... Also lettered in baseball and basketball at Rock Bridge, and earned 1st-team all-district honors playing 1st base for the baseball team in 2003 ... High school coach - A.J. Ofodile, a former MU football standout ... Was also coached for two years by current Tiger staffer Barry Odom.

    Son of Robert & Joyce Patton ... Is a pre-medicine major at Mizzou ... Chose MU over Tennessee, UCLA, Kansas State, Iowa and Virginia, among others.
