2003 SEASON

A 2nd-Team All-Big 12 selection by league coaches who blossomed in his 2nd year on the Tiger line ... Ranked 7th on the team with a career-high 67 tackles ... Also led the team in tackles for loss, with 16 (44 yards), and ranked among the top-20 in the NCAA in that category for most of the season ... His 6 sacks (29 yards) and 7 quarterback hurries also ranked 2nd on the squad ... Had a season-high 9 tackles, and added 3 tackles for loss (13 yards) and 2 sacks (12 yards) versus Texas A&M ... Had 7 tackles in the season opener versus Illinois, including a career-best 4 tackles for loss (9 yards) ... Made 8 stops at Kansas, including a vicious sack from the blindside on KU's quarterback Bill Whittemore ... 2002 SEASON

Developed into a regular on the Tiger defensive line, playing in all 12 games ... Started 5 times during his redshirt freshman season, including the first 3 and last 2 games of the year ... Ended the season with 41 tackles, and tied for 4th on the squad with 8 tackles behind the line of scrimmage ...Also added 3 sacks, 3 QB hurries, one forced fumble and one pass broken up ... Began the season as a starter at tackle, and registered 3 tackles (including 2 TFLs and one sack) as MU earned a huge win over defending Big Ten champ Illinois ... Came off the bench for games 4 through 10, but was re-inserted into the starting lineup after the performance of his young career, when he notched a career-best 8 stops (including 7 solo) against 18th-ranked Colorado in week 10 ... Had 2 TFLs in the game, including one sack ... As a starter the next week at Texas A&M, contributed with 4 tackles, with 2 of them going for losses (including one sack) ... Sacked A&M's Reggie McNeal for a 13-yard loss, and caused a fumble on the play, which was recovered by MU to set the Tigers up inside the Aggie 40-yardline ...
