Won 1st-Team All-State honors on offense as a senior, and won the same honors on defense during his junior season ... Racked up 89 tackles, 3 sacks and 2 forced fumbles on defense as a senior, while notching 49 stops and 3 sacks as a junior ... Played in an offense that ran a balanced attack, and is considered a strong run blocker coming into the college ranks ... Caught the eye of Tiger coaches after attending Mizzou summer camps for the past two summers ... Also lettered for his school in wrestling and weightlifting for two years apiece ...
