Speedy defensive end prospect who has good natural reaction and instincts for his position ... Enters fall drills listed at No. 3 on the depth chart at one defensive end position, and with both starters from 2008 having graduated, he'll have a big opportunity to earn playing time with a strong camp ... Changed his jersey to #18 prior to spring ball, after wearing #97 during his first year in the Mizzou program ... Closed the spring season by making 3 tackles in the Black & Gold Game, which was won by the defense, 68-40.

Redshirted in his first season in the Tiger program, spending time learning the system and working as part of the defensive scout team ... Won the team's defensive Back-Up Player of the Week for his efforts in practice prior to the season-opening game against Illinois.

Won 1st-Team All-District honors as a senior in 2007, as he recorded 47 tackles and 5.5 QB sacks, while being credited with 18 QB pressures, 6 pass deflections and adding 1 forced fumble and 1 safety in 11 games played ...
