2011 SEASON
Veteran defensive end with 25 games of experience who helps give the Tigers great depth on the line ... Is expected to miss the majority of spring camp as he's rehabilitating a shoulder which required off-season surgical repair, but he'll be 100 percent when fall camp opens in August.
2010 SEASON
Saw action in 13 games and contributed on defense as well as special teams ... Had 5 tackles in all on the season, including a 2-tackle outing against McNeese State early in the year ... Also had single-stop games against Illinois, Miami (Ohio) and in MU's 2nd-consecutive home shutout win over Colorado.
2009 SEASON
Got his feet wet in his redshirt freshman season, and saw action in 12-of-13 games on the year ... Saw his snaps increase over the course of the season, as he continued to grow more and more comfortable with the system ... Five of his six tackles came in the final four games of the season, including two games - Kansas State and the Texas Bowl against Navy, where he had two tackles apiece ... Had 1.5 tackles for loss against Kansas State, for losses of nine yards total ... Changed his jersey to #18 prior to spring ball, after wearing #97 during his first year in the Mizzou program ... Closed the spring season by making 3 tackles in the Black & Gold Game, which was won by the defense, 68-40.
2008 SEASON
Redshirted in his first season in the Tiger program, spending time learning the system and working as part of the defensive scout team ... Won the team's defensive Back-Up Player of the Week for his efforts in practice prior to the season-opening game against Illinois.
HIGH SCHOOL
Recruiting interest picked up during a big senior season that he turned in ... Won 1st-Team All-District honors as a senior in 2007, as he recorded 47 tackles and 5.5 QB sacks, while being credited with 18 QB pressures, 6 pass deflections and adding 1 forced fumble and 1 safety in 11 games played ... Was selected to play in the Bayou Bowl all-star game ... Multisport letterwinner for Beaumont, in football (2 years) and basketball (3 years) ... High school coach - Craig Stump.
