2008 OUTLOOK
Veteran lineman who will be looked to as a leader for a line that is coming off a stellar 2007 season, but which loses two starters ... Is the most experienced offensive lineman on the squad, with 22 career starts in all ... Made 12 starts in 2007 and 10 more at left guard in 2006, and that's where he will continue in his senior year, as he enters fall drills atop the depth chart at that spot ... In the fall, will be joined by his younger brother, Brad, who was part of MU's highly-heralded 2008 recruiting class.

2007 SEASON
Came into his own as a second-year starter at left guard, making a career-high 12 starts on the season ... Alternated starts in the first four games with Monte Wyrick, but won the starting job permanently in game #5 against Nebraska ... Protected and paved the way for Mizzou's offense to be arguably the most potent and consistent in the nation, as MU was the only team in the country to score 30 points or more in all 12 regular-season games (13-of-14 overall) ... Mizzou also was one of only two teams (Tulsa the other) to throw for 4,000 yards (4,397) and rush for 2,000 yards (2,467) on the year ... Mizzou ranked 5th in the NCAA in total offense (490.29 ypg), 8th in scoring offense (39.86 ppg) and 9th in passing offense (314.07 ypg), while checking in at 13th in passing efficiency offense (145.97 rating) ... MU also smashed the school record of points scored in a season (558, old record was 399 in 2003).

2006 SEASON
Established himself as Mizzou's top left guard (replacing former standout and current Green Bay Packer Tony Palmer) ... Came off the bench in MU's 1st 2 games, but took over as a starter in game #3 and started the last 10 games of the regular season, before being held out of the Sun Bowl due to the flu bug that made its way through the team ... Was part of a line that helped the Tiger offense rank 8th in the nation in total offense, at 425.62 ypg ... Mizzou also had the nation's 10th-ranked passing attack (276.15 ypg) and ranked 24th in the country (2nd in the Big 12) in fewest QB sacks allowed (1.46 pg) ... Had a solid spring practice period, and entered fall camp listed at No. 2 on the depth chart at left guard.

2005 SEASON
Moved to guard after entering fall camp listed 2nd on the depth chart at center, behind incumbent starter Adam Spieker ... Saw action in 2 games on the year, seeing the field in versus Arkansas State and Troy ... Has had an impressive year in the weight program, as he added 30 pounds from his listed playing weight of 270 the previous season.

HIGH SCHOOL
An excellent athlete who was recruited with the possibility of making an impact on either side of the line at Mizzou ... Earned all-state honors as a senior on both sides of the ball, at guard on offense and at tackle on defense ... Four-year letterman who helped lead school to three consecutive conference championships (2000-02) and back-to-back district titles and final four state playoff appearances (2000-01) ... Was a prep teammate of current Tiger Tyler Luellen ... Also lettered in the sports of basketball and track and field at South Harrison, and earned all-conference honors in hoops ...
