Kathryn Lucchesi is in her fourth football season overall, and her second at a newly created position - Director of Football Multimedia. She took up this new title after spending two very successful seasons as the program's Multimedia Graduate Assistant, where she helped increase the reach and profile of Mizzou Football in various online and social media platforms.
You can usually find Lucchesi on the sideline of football games and practices shooting highlights. She shoots and edits numerous videos and photos for the team's popluar web site and blog, WeAreMizzou.com. She also assists the Tiger coaching staff with various recruiting duties throughout the year.
A graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism, with an emphasis in Broadcasting, Lucchesi joined the Mizzou staff in the fall of 2009 as a graduate assistant, where she helped the program grow in the social media world.
Before working with the athletic department, Lucchesi was a reporter and anchor at KOMU-TV8 in Columbia. She began as a news reporter, but focused her stories on sports during her last year at the television station, and she contributed heavily to the This Week In Mizzou Football television show throughout the season.
