In this position, Leibner assists the Tiger coaching staff with various recruiting administrative duties throughout the year, as well as lending a hand with scouting and game preparation efforts during the season - duties he picked up prior to the 2009 season.
A graduate of the United States Sports Academy, with a degree in sports management, Leibner joined the Mizzou staff in the fall of 2008 as a student assistant, where he helped along the way as the Tigers won a second-straight Big 12 Conference North Division championship.
Leibner played prep football for St. Charles High School, where he was an all-conference player as a cornerback and receiver. He helped St. Charles to district and conference championships for the first time in nearly 20 years, before he graduated in 2001. Following his days at the U.S. Sports Academy, Leibner got into the coaching ranks as an assistant coach at St. Charles, where he worked for the 2004, 2005 and 2006 seasons, coaching the receivers, cornerbacks and defensive ends.
After that stint, Leibner had a one-year stay as a student intern coach at Lindenwood University in St. Louis for the 2007 season. He assisted with coaching the defensive line and receivers while at Lindenwood.
Leibner was married in June of 2008 to the former Rachel Miller. He is currently pursuing a graduate degree in health education and promotion.
