2013 OUTLOOK

The most experienced member of the Tiger offensive line, with 22 career starts and 35 career outings under his belt, he'll be looked to for leadership and stability on a unit which features only two seniors on its four-deep depth chart ... Has proven himself as a two-year starter, at left tackle solely in 2011 and at right tackle primarily in 2012 ... Had 2012 season cut short after suffering a knee injury at Florida, but after surgery and rehab, is expected to be full go when camp opens in August ... Is listed No. 1 on the depth chart at left tackle.

2012 SEASON

Continued his development in his second year as a starter before missing the final 3-1/2 games due to a knee injury sustained in game #9 at Florida ... Prior to the injury, started all nine games, including six at right tackle, sandwiched around three starts at left tackle as the Tiger line was continually shuffled due to injuries ... Fell victim to the injury bug himself while attempting a tackle on an interception in the second quarter at Florida, and was lost for the remainder of the season ... Despite missing the last three games, was still awarded with the team's Underclassman leadership award handed out at the season-ending banquet ...

2011 SEASON

Started all 13 games at left tackle following the season-ending knee injury to incumbent Elvis Fisher ... Played a major role in Mizzou's potent offense, as the team ranked 9th nationally in rushing offense and 12th nationally in total offense ... Helped the Tiger offense allow just 18 sacks all year, the lowest total since the 2008 season ... Also realized a lineman's dream when he took a swing pass on a gadget play against Kansas and took the lateral for a seven-yard rush.

2010 SEASON

Played in all 13 games in his first collegiate action as a reserve lineman for Mizzou in 2010 ... Spent most of the season second on the depth chart behind veteran guard Austin Wuebbels.

2009 SEASON

Redshirted in his first season at Mizzou, but made favorable enough of an impression in his first fall camp that Tiger coaches were prepared to put him out on the field at any moment during the year ... Spent the season getting valuable practice reps with the offensive reserves, but was able to preserve his redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL

Played on both sides of the line of scrimmage for Lebanon High School, and starred on offense at left tackle ... Ranked as the No. 19 overall prospect (any position) in Missouri, according to Rivals.com, and was ranked by ESPN.com as the No. 86 offensive tackle prospect in the nation ... Was a First-Team All-State pick in 2008 as an offensive lineman, as well as taking home First-Team All-District and All-Conference honors ... Starred at left tackle for a high-powered offense that racked up nearly 5,200 yards of total offense and threw for nearly 3,300 yards ... Allowed only one sack in 2008 in 434 pass attempts ... His team was regional champs in 2008, and won a state playoff game for only the second time in school history ... A good overall athlete who was a three-year letterwinner in the sports of football, wrestling and track ... Won the Class 4 Missouri state heavyweight championship as a senior in 2009, going a perfect 45-0 on the season ... Placed sixth at the state wrestling championships in the heavyweight division in 2008 ... Was district heavyweight champion in 2008 and 2009, adding to a trio of conference titles he won in 2007, 2008 and 2009 ... High school coach - Will Christian.

PERSONAL

Parents - Chris & Kelly Britt ... Lists hobbies as weightlifting, sports in general, and beating everyone at football on XBox 360 ... Chose Mizzou over Kansas State, among others ... Has been a big boy from day one, as he was weighed in at 11 pounds, 8 ounces at birth.
