2013 OUTLOOK

Developing cornerback talent will look to compete for playing time this fall, after putting together an impressive spring camp which ended with him winning the team's Most Improved Defensive Back award ... He'll begin fall camp listed at No. 2 on the depth chart at one corner spot, behind senior E.J. Gaines.

2012 SEASON

Did not see action in his redshirt freshman season ... Changed his jersey to #3 in the spring, after wearing #19 in his first year with the program.

2011 SEASON

Redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL

Outstanding all-around athlete who excelled both on the gridiron and the track ... Was well on his way to a stellar senior season, before suffering a season-ending knee injury five games into the campaign ... In his 5 games before the injury, totaled 60 tackles at cornerback, 2 interceptions, 4 pass break ups, 2 forced fumbles and 3 tackles for loss ... Was his team's defensive player of the year despite the limited playing time, and also served as a team captain ... As a junior, had 20 tackles on defense, while adding 15 catches for 400 yards and 7 touchdowns as a wide receiver ... As a track standout, won a national title in the 110-meter hurdles in the spring of 2010 at the Nike Track Nationals in Eugene, Ore., and was also an indoor All-American in the 60-meter hurdles and the pentathlon ... High school coach - Sam Parker.
