2014 OUTLOOK
Proven commodity in the middle who looks to establish himself as one of the top tackles in the vaunted SEC ... A two-year starter with 25 career starts under his belt heading into 2014, and he begins spring camp listed atop the depth at the tackle spot.

2013 SEASON
Emerged as a solid contributor on Mizzou's outstanding defensive front, making a career-best 41 tackles while notching 4 TFLs and a career-high 3 QB sacks in 13 games (all starts) ... finished with five stops, including 0.5 sacks, in the 28-21 win vs. Texas A&M (Nov. 30) ... had a career-high two tackles for loss among four total stops in the win at Kentucky (Nov. 9) ... recorded his first sack of the season among three tackles in the win vs. No. 22 Florida (Oct. 19) ... tallied a career-best seven tackles in the win at No. 7 Georgia (Oct. 12).

2012 SEASON
Started all 12 games at the nose position, making him the only one of Mizzou's front seven to start all 12 games ... finished with career-high numbers in every category, including tackles (36), tackles for loss (4.5), sacks (two) and pass break ups (three) ... closed his season with a good showing at Texas A&M, when he tallied a career-best six tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss against the Aggies ... Earned his first career start in the season opener against Southeastern Louisiana ... finished the contest with two tackles, which included his second career sack ... tallied four tackles including a sack of six yards in the Tigers' 33-10 homecoming win over Kentucky ... continued his fine play with four tackles (two solo, two assists) while breaking up a pair of passes in the Tigers' 14-7 loss at Florida ... posted five tackles (three solo, two assists) including a tackle for a three-yard loss in the Tigers' 51-48, four overtime win at Tennessee.

2011 SEASON
Saw action in 11 games during his redshirt freshman season, playing mostly on special teams units ... compiled two tackles on the season ... had two total tackles against Western Illinois, including his first career sack against Western Illinois for a 10 yard loss ... also notched a QB hurry against the Leathernecks ... recovered a blocked punt against Texas ... earned a spot on the Academic All-Big 12 first team with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

2010 SEASON
Took a redshirt in his first year in the Tiger program, and spent the year working with the offensive scout team as a tight end prospect ... showed an outstanding work ethic from the start, and he was twice awarded with the team's offensive back-up player of the week award during the year, for his efforts during preparations for games against Illinois and Oklahoma ... was an early enrollee at MU in January, in time to take part in spring camp.

HIGH SCHOOL
Standout two-way player at the prep level who excelled as a linebacker on defense and as a running back and tight end on offense ... was rated as the No. 3 prospect in the state of Iowa by Rivals.com, and as the nation's No. 24 strong side defensive end prospect ... ranked by ESPN.com as the nation's No. 87 defensive end prospect ... won first-team all-state honors each of his last two seasons, and helped lead his team to a state championship as a senior in 2009, winning MVP honors in the state title game as well ... registered 137 tackles and 28 tackles for loss in 2009, and added 702 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns, while catching 22 passes for 282 yards as well on offense ... led team in tackles as a junior as well, going for 98 stops and 20 tackles for loss with eight quarterback sacks, while also seeing some action at tight end for a team which reached the state quarterfinals ... high school coach - Curt Bladt.

PERSONAL
