Is the heir apparent to take over for Adam Crossett as punter for the Tigers ... Is in his second year in the program, after sitting behind Crossett for the 2007 season ... Enters fall drills holding down the top spot on the depth chart at the punter position ... The left-footer has a strong leg and is working on his consistency and get-off time to be ready for 2008.

Did not see action in any games in his first year at Mizzou after transferring from Palomar Junior College.

Began his college career at Oregon State, where he redshirted as a true freshman in 2005 ... After one season at OSU, Transferred to Palomar Junior College, where he played in 2006 ... Caught the eye of MU coaches in January at a combine in San Antonio, where he won the college division punting competition after working closely with former NFL kicker Michael Husted ... At Palomar Junior College in 2006, averaged 38.9 yards per punt, and had 10 punts downed inside the opponents' 20-yardline (on 10 tries) ... Also handled kickoff duties, and forced 20 touchbacks ... Won 2nd-Team All-Conference honors in 2006.

Selected to play in the North-South All-Star Game in California after his senior year of high school, and he handled all of the placekicking and punting duties while also playing defensive back ... Made 52-of-52 PATs as a senior in 2004, and was 7-of-9 of FG tries while getting 92% of his kickoffs to go for touchbacks ... Also averaged 36.5 yards per punt and had 19-of-20 directional punts downed inside opponents' 20-yardline ... Was a multi-sport standout at Torrey Pines High School, where he was a state qualifier in wrestling and also threw a 1-hitter in a city championship baseball game ... High school coach - Ed Burke.
