2013 OUTLOOK

A smooth, explosive runner who has good vision and is tough to corral due to his quickness and elusive nature ... Got his first taste of collegiate action last season as a true freshman, and he's ready to challenge for a bigger role in the offense in his second year in the program ... Begins spring camp listed at No. 2 on the depth chart at the tailback spot, and he could also potentially factor into the kick return game, as well.

2012 SEASON

Made good early impressions in training camp that he would be ready to play as a true freshman, and he got the nod to burn the redshirt midway through camp ... Ended up seeing action in nine games, and carried the ball 37 times for 139 yards overall (3.8 avg.), while also returning one kickoff for a 56-yard result ... Had at least three carries in 8-of-9 games, including 7-carry outings in consecutive games against Alabama and Kentucky ... Racked up 37 yards against the Wildcats, his career best to date ... Had a long run on the season of 14 yards at South Carolina against the stout Gamecock defense ... Closed the season by carrying six times at Texas A&M for 23 yards total.

Was a 1st-Team 4-5A All-District selection in 2011 while serving as a team captain ... Ran for over 3,000 yards in a stellar prep career, including 1,238 yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior, averaging 9.5 yards per carry ...
