2003 SEASON
Played in all 13 games, primarily on the special forces ... Had 3 kickoff returns as an upback, returning those for a total of 34 yards, with a long of 13 in the regular-season finale vs. Iowa State ... Also broke up a pass in the regular-season finale against the Cyclones ... Had 1 tackle on the year, a solo stop at Kansas.
2002 SEASON
Saw action in all 12 games as a redshirt freshman, and ended the season with 15 tackles ... Had a career-best five tackles in game four against Troy State ... Was a standout on Tiger special teams ... Made a huge play when he recovered a punt blocked by teammate Brandon Smith at Texas A&M that led to a Tiger TD and a 17-3 2nd-quarter lead ... Fielded a kickoff and returned it 15 yards at Iowa State.
2001 SEASON
Redshirted in 2001 and was a valuable member of the Tigers' scout team defense.
HIGH SCHOOL
All-American defensive back and a two-time all-state performer at Cahokia High School ... Two-time all-conference selection ... A three-year starter who intercepted eight passes in his career ... Recorded 178 tackles, forced eight fumbles and recovered seven fumbles ... A star on offense as well, racking up 1,382 yards rushing as a senior (10.3 yards per carry) and scoring 15 touchdowns ...
