Was impressive enough during spring drills to be awarded a scholarship for his efforts and talent ... With some veteran receivers limited during the spring due to various injuries, made the most of a golden opportunity to establish himself, and he spent most of the spring listed at No. 1 on the depth chart at the X-receiver position ... Closed the spring by catching 2 passes for 32 yards in the Black & Gold Game ... Moves over in the fall to the Z-receiver position, where he begins fall camp listed No. 2 on the depth heading in ... Is a hometown product who prepped at Rock Bridge High School and grew up dreaming of playing for the Tigers.

2008 SEASON

Saw his first collegiate action, logging snaps in 4 games during the season ... Saw the field in games against Southeast Missouri State, Nebraska, Colorado and Kansas State ... Won the team's Offensive Back-Up Player of the Week award for his work in practice leading up to the season-opening win over Illinois ... Had a solid spring camp, where he showed consistently in practices and scrimmages that he can be part of the offensive attack ... Closed spring camp with a good outing in the Black & Gold Spring Game, when he caught three passes for 57 yards, which tied for most receiving yardage on the day by any Tiger.

2007 SEASON

Joined the team as a walk-on and was a solid contributor all throughout the year in practice.

HIGH SCHOOL

Two-sport standout at Rock Bridge High School, lettering three years each in football and baseball ... Was an all-district and all-area performer as a wide receiver, and set the school record for most career receiving yards ... Also earned all-state honors in baseball as a junior, and pulled in all-district honors on the diamond all three years ... High school coach - A.J. Ofodile, a former Mizzou standout tight end.
