Won 1st-Team All-State and team MVP honors after notching 182 tackles, 6 tackles for loss and 3 sacks as a senior in 2010 ... Also won 1st-Team All-District and All-Area honors as a senior as well ... Recorded 162 tackles as a junior, including 9 tackles for loss and 3 sacks, while he made 85 stops as a sophomore ... His team reached the state playoffs each of his four years with the varsity, including during his freshman year in 2007 when they made the title game ...
