The final opening on the 2010 University of Missouri football schedule has been filled with San Diego State University, as announced today by the Department of Athletics. Missouri and San Diego State will square off in Columbia, as part of a one-game agreement, on Sept 18, 2010.

The Missouri Tigers (6-4 overall, 2-4 in Big 12 Conference play) will bring a close to the 2009 home season this Saturday as they play host to the Iowa State Cyclones (6-5, 3-4) at Faurot Field/Memorial Stadium. Kickoff for the game, which is not being televised, is set for 1:07 p.m. (central time). Alexander Named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week

University of Missouri senior wide receiver Danario Alexander (Marlin, Texas) has been named the Big 12 Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office this morning. Alexander was cited for his outstanding play in helping lead Mizzou to a 38-12 win at North Division-leading Kansas State last Saturday, as he caught 10 passes for 200 yards and an MU record-tying three touchdowns.
