2009 OUTLOOK
Athletic walk-on prospect who is in his second year as a tailback, after spending his first year in the program as a defensive back ... Had a labrum tear in his left shoulder repaired during the off-season, which limited him somewhat during spring camp, but he returned in time to play in the spring game, where he gained 12 yards on a pair of carries for the offense.
2008 SEASON
Continued his contributions to the team serving as a member of the offensive scout team ... Missed a good portion of the first half of the season due to a broken foot suffered in fall camp, but returned to practice before the year was out ... Moved to tailback after spring ball, where he had one tackle on defense in the spring game.
2007 SEASON
Spent his first season in the program as a valuable member of the scout team.
HIGH SCHOOL
A three-sport standout at School of the Osage in Lake Ozark, as he earned All-Conference and All-District honors in football, basketball and track and field ... Earned All-Conference and All-District honors as a senior defensive back, wide receiver and also at punter ... Had 44 tackles, 4 INTs and 2 forced fumbles his senior season, to go with 20 reception for 2 TDs and a 37-yard punting average ... Also earned All-Conference/All-District acclaim in basketball, where he averaged 10 points and 7 rebounds per game as a senior, winning his team's MVP honors ... Was a state track qualifier in the high jump, long jump and in the 4x400-meter relay as well as a senior, winning conference and district titles in those events, plus the 4x100-meter relay ... Also won conference championships in track in the long jump as a junior and the pole vault as a sophomore, to go with three consecutive 4x200-meter relay titles from 2003-05 ... High school coach - Shannon Jolley.
