2010 SPRING OUTLOOK
Program veteran who will be looked to for leadership in his final year in the program, as well as his ability to provide an impact on the defensive line ... Will be in his third year of lining up at tackle, as he moved inside in 2008 for the first time after playing end previously ... Has the ability to produce in both pass-rush and run-stop situations with his combination of size, speed and strength ... Is a high-energy, high-emotion guy who does a lot to fire up his teammates in the lockerroom and on the field ... Enters spring camp listed at No. 3 on the depth chart at the tackle position ... Is a dedicated Tiger, as he had a tattoo done in the spring of 2009 which consists of a Tiger head logo with the word "results" alongside.
Saw action in all 13 games for Missouri, and was awarded his first letter for his efforts ... Saw time as a reserve on the Tigers' defensive line ... Also saw considerable time on various special teams units for MU ... Closed spring camp by being credited with a pair of tackles in the defense's win in the Black & Gold Game.
Moved to the interior of the defensive line after lining up at defensive end for his first two years in the program ... Played in all 14 games, drawing most of his duty as part of the protection unit for placekicks, but also saw action in reserve duty as part of the Tiger defensive line ... Registered two tackles on the season, as he was credited with one stop each in consecutive games against Southeast Missouri State and Nevada.
Played in six games for the Tigers after redshirting the 2006 season ... Saw action in four of the last five games of the year.

Highly-rated defensive end prospect out of the St. Louis area that missed his senior year due to a knee injury ... Despite missing the season, still ranked as the nation's No. 26 weakside defensive end prospect, and the No. 12 overall prospect in Missouri by Rivals ... Was a pre-season All-American by Collegiate Sports prior to his senior season ... An outstanding athlete who was also recruited by several Division I schools to play basketball ... Played AAU hoops for the well-known St. Louis Eagles AAU team ... Earned 1st-Team All-Conference, All-District and All-Metro honors as both a defensive end and tight end as a junior in 2004, as he had 79 tackles and 3 sacks on defense and added 15 catches for 159 yards and 2 TDs on offense ... Earned 1st-Team All-Conference and All-District mention as a sophomore tight end in 2003 after grabbing 11 passes for 267 yards and 3 TDs ... Also racked up 59 tackles and added 3 QB sacks as a sophomore ... Played on both sides of the ball as a freshman, starting some at tight end for the 6A program ... High school coach - Todd Berck, who coached former Tiger LB Dedrick Harrington at Mexico (Mo.) High School.
