The Missouri Tigers (6-4 overall, 2-4 in Big 12 Conference play) will bring a close to the 2009 home season this Saturday as they play host to the Iowa State Cyclones (6-5, 3-4) at Faurot Field/Memorial Stadium. Alexander Named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week

University of Missouri senior wide receiver Danario Alexander (Marlin, Texas) has been named the Big 12 Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office this morning. Alexander was cited for his outstanding play in helping lead Mizzou to a 38-12 win at North Division-leading Kansas State last Saturday, as he caught 10 passes for 200 yards and an MU record-tying three touchdowns.

Danario Alexander caught 10 passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns in his second monster game in as many weeks and Missouri beat Kansas State 38-12 Saturday, putting a big dent in the Wildcats' hopes in the Big 12 North.
