Was selected to the prestigious Playboy Magazine All-America team, and took part in the annual team photo shoot in Phoenix this May, along with teammate Jeremy Maclin ... With 20 career receiving TDs, he is the Mizzou record-holder for most career TDs at any position ... Is just the 3rd TE in MU history to catch 100 passes ... In just 3 seasons, already ranks 2nd on the MU tight end career receptions list (157 catches), and is 2nd on the MU tight end career yardage list (1,672 yards), and needs just 47 catches and 504 yards to break the records held by Martin Rucker ... With 338 yards receiving in 2008, he will become just the fifth Tiger in history to reach 2,000 career receiving yards ... Begins the 2008 season ranked 1st on the MU career list in TD catches, 3rd in receptions and 7th in receiving yardage ... Submitted his name to the NFL Draft Advisory panel in the off-season, and despite getting very favorable feedback toward his potential in the 2008 Draft, he chose to come back to Mizzou for his senior season.

His TD grab was a beautiful leaping grab on a fade route in the corner of the endzone that helped pull the Tigers to within 28-14 with just 20 seconds before halftime ... Also used his considerable size advantage to get deep for catches of 30 and 26 yards in the game ... Had a stellar regular season finale at Kansas State, where his father, Paul, was a star tight end from 1975-77 ... Had six catches for 88 yards at K-State, and one TD, on a beautiful 33-yard catch-and-run in the second quarter ... Also had a potential second TD later in the quarter overruled after instant replay indicated he was out of bounds just shy of the goalline ... Made quite a splash early on, as he caught a TD pass in each of MU's first two games of the season - both fourth-quarter grabs ... Began his collegiate career by catching three passes for 36 yards in Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium, against Arkansas State - the same stadium where his father also played professionally ... His TD in that game came from 14 yards out and was a pretty leaping catch in the back of the endzone ... Followed with a six-catch, 49-yard performance the next week against New Mexico, and got free for a 13-yard TD grab with just under eight minutes left in the game that tied it up at 35 apiece ... Made his first career start against Nebraska, as MU opened with a double tight end set ... Oddly enough, was shut out for the only time this season in that game ... Had six catches for 31 yards at Colorado ... Had a minimum of three catches in each of his first six games on the season ...
