Highly sought-after prospect out of the state of Oklahoma who was a three-year starter at both linebacker and wide receiver for Guthrie High School ... Ranked by Rivals.com as the nation's No. 36 outside linebacker prospect, and as the No. 9 overall prospect coming out of the state of Oklahoma in 2011 ... Was named the Daily Oklahoman Defensive Player of the Year as a senior, when he registered 100 tackles and 19 sacks, while also moonlighting as a productive receiver, with 53 receptions for 1,322 yards and 16 touchdowns ... He also ran for a score and threw for another as Guthrie made it to the Class 5A semifinals in 2010 ... In one game this past season against Duncan, he caught 5 passes for 176 yards and 3 touchdowns, while also impacting the game by making 5 sacks on defense ... Took home all-state honors as a junior as well, when he had similar numbers which included 98 tackles and 18 sacks on defense, to go with 63 receptions for 1,122 yards and 12 touchdowns on offense ... Also lettered in both basketball and tennis at his school, and was an all-state selection in basketball as a sophomore ... High school coach - Rafe Watkins.
