2012 OUTLOOK

Looking to work his way into significant playing time, and he opens spring ball listed at No. 2 on the depth at the middle linebacker spot, behind veteran Will Ebner ... Has been a major special teams contributor in the past, and is very athletic and physical...Changed his jersey number to 8 during spring camp, after wearing 15 in 2011...

2011 SEASON

Played in all 13 games and gave huge contributions on special teams primarily ... Had 13 tackles on the season, including 8 on kickoff coverage, which was 4th-most on the squad ... 2009 SEASON

Played in 12 games in his true freshman season, seeing most of his time on Tiger special teams units to get his feet wet in at the collegiate level ... Had nine tackles in all on the year, including six coming on special teams units, where he made his mark primarily on the kickoff coverage squad ... Had five stops on kickoffs, which ranked as 4th-most on the team ... Made three tackles in the season-opener against Illinois ... Had a season-best four stops against Furman on Sept. 19 ... Added one tackle in each of the games against Nevada and Oklahoma State.
