Outstanding all-around athlete, who earned four letters each in football, basketball and baseball for Moberly High School ... Was an All-State wide receiver as a senior, and also took home All-Conference and All-District honors at that position, as well ... For his career, had 1,700 receiving yards, and scored 299 points, which included 14 field goals (including a school-record 47-yarder), while also grabbing 13 interceptions as a defensive back ... Four of his field goals were from 40 yards or more, including a 41-yarder as a sophomore that came with just one second left that gave Moberly a 10-9 win in the district championship ... Ranked third in Missouri state history in PATs (137) and kicking points (179) ... Started at receiver, defensive back, kicker, punter and punt returner during his football days, and helped lead Moberly to its first perfect regular season (10-0) in school history as they won three consecutive Class 3 district titles ... Also earned All-State , All-Conference and All-District honors as an outfielder for the baseball team, as he hit for a .440 batting average as a senior ...
