Was outstanding in his 1st year as the primary punter, ranking 9th in the NCAA and 2nd in the Big 12 with an MU single-season record average of 44.8 per punt ... Also was forced into placekicking duties late in the season when Grant Ressel was lost for the year with injury, and he performed very well, making 7-of-9 FGs and all 23 PATs ... Closed by making both FG tries in the Independence Bowl, connecting from 31 yards and 26 yards out in the win, while making all 6 PATs to account for 12 points ... Shined against Arizona State, punting the ball four times for 232 yards, an average of 58.0 ... had a 73-yard boot in the second quarter, backing up the Sun Devils to their own six ... Averaged 47.1 yards per punt on eight attempts against Oklahoma ... Had a long of 63 yards in Norman ... Punted the ball five times against Kansas State for 238 yards, good for an average of 47.6 yards per punt ... His longest punt against the Wildcats went for 67 yards ... Stepped in at kicker for the 1st time against Texas A&M and made a 26 yard field goal right before half ... At Baylor made all four of his PAT attempts and nailed a 30-yard field goal ... Had two PATs and a 19-yard field goal against Texas ... Punted eight times in the game, averaging 49.0 yards per kick with a season-long of 74 ... Connected on a 39 yard field goal to end the first half against Texas Tech and added four PATs... got Mizzou on the board vs. Kansas with a 23-yard field goal in the second quarter...
Handled kickoff duties for Mizzou in 2010 and averaged 63.5 yards on his 73 kickoffs ... Had eight touchbacks ... Also punted twice for an average of 45.0 yards, with a long of 49 yards ... Placed both punts inside the 20-yardline ... Had one rush on a fake punt against Colorado, gaining 26 yards and an MU first down which helped spark the Tigers to a touchdown on the way to a 26-0 shutout win ... Also made 9 tackles on the year as part of the kickoff team, and was credited with a forced fumble at Nebraska.
Joined the Tigers prior to the 2008 season and served as a valuable member of the practice squad for 2008 and 2009...
Outstanding all-around athlete, who earned four letters each in football, basketball and baseball for Moberly High School ... Was an All-State wide receiver as a senior, and also took home All-Conference and All-District honors at that position, as well ... For his career, had 1,700 receiving yards, and scored 299 points, which included 14 field goals (including a school-record 47-yarder), while also grabbing 13 interceptions as a defensive back ... Four of his field goals were from 40 yards or more, including a 41-yarder as a sophomore that came with just one second left that gave Moberly a 10-9 win in the district championship ... Ranked third in Missouri state history in PATs (137) and kicking points (179) ... Started at receiver, defensive back, kicker, punter and punt returner during his football days, and helped lead Moberly to its first perfect regular season (10-0) in school history as they won three consecutive Class 3 district titles ... Also earned All-State , All-Conference and All-District honors as an outfielder for the baseball team, as he hit for a .440 batting average as a senior ...
