2013 OUTLOOK
Strong-legged kicker who proved to be a dependable find for the Tigers a year ago as a redshirt freshman ... Looks to follow up on SEC All-Freshman season from a year ago with more of the same, and enters camp listed atop the depth chart at placekicker ... Is the top candidate to handle kickoffs during the season, as well ... Was awarded with a scholarship in the off-season after his outstanding freshman season.
2012 SEASON
Battled in training camp and won the starting kicking job, and made coaches look good for making that call, as he ended up winning SEC All-Freshman Team honors for an outstanding first year ... Was a solid 14-of-20 on field goals for the season and connected on 33-of-37 extra points overall ... Also took over as primary kickoff man during the last half of the season, and had six of his 11 touchbacks on the year in his final two games ... Four of his six misses on field goals came from 40-49 yards out, but showed he's got a strong leg, with a long make of 46 yards (twice) ... Really hit his stride after working out the jitters early on - missed four of his first seven attempts, but then closed by making 11-of-13 FGs ... Played hero at Tennessee in MU's historic 51-48 4-OT win, when he calmly drilled a 35-yard field goal for the game-winning points ... Was also a perfect 6-of-6 on PATs in the win, and was subsequently named the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts ... Made his first career field goal against Georgia, hitting a 38-yarder in the second quarter to give Mizzou a 3-0 lead ... He added a 25-yarder in the third quarter as well ... Hit a 46-yard field goal against Arizona State, a season and career long ... Put Mizzou on the board at South Carolina with a 22-yard field goal in the second quarter ... Connected on three field goal attempts against Vanderbilt, making kicks from 31, 28 and 22 yards as he accounted for nine of MU's 15 points ... Banged home a 41-yard field goal in the third quarter against Alabama, keeping the game close at that point at 28-10 ... He made that kick despite pouring rain and soggy field conditions ... Nailed a pair of field goals (44 yards, 31 yards) while averaging 60.6 yards per kick on seven kickoffs in the Tigers' homecoming win over Kentucky ... Made 2-of-3 field goals against Syracuse ... Converted a career high-tying 46-yarder late in the fourth quarter against the Orange ... Also averaged 68.8 yards on six kickoffs, including three touchbacks.

Joined the team as a walk-on and did not see action during a redshirt season.
