For Openers...
> Missouri Basketball hits the court once again on Tuesday as the Tigers battle a talented Southeast Missouri State squad that carries a three-game winning streak to Columbia ... The two clubs meet for the second consecutive year ... Missouri led just 38-36 at halftime of last year's game, but pulled away thanks to 20-point games from Marcus Denmon and Ricardo Ratliffe.
> Missouri has won six consecutive games vs. in-state opponents since 2000-01 ... The Tigers defeated SEMO last season in the season-opener and also have wins over Saint Louis University (2-0) and UMKC (3-0) during that stretch.
> Mizzou will look to continue its homecourt domination vs. non-league foes ... Overall Missouri has won 69 consecutive home games vs. non-league opposition since the end of the 2005-06 campaign ... In fact Mizzou has won 28-of-29 regular season non-league games since the 2010-11 campaign ... Missouri's last non-conference loss at home came vs. Sam Houston State in the 2005 Preseason NIT.
> Overall at Mizzou Arena the Tigers are 71-4 since 2008-09, an incredible .947 winning percentage.
> Missouri will be playing back-to-back opponents from the Ohio Valley Conference ... In addition to Tuesday's game vs. SEMO the Tigers will take on Tennessee State Saturday afternoon ... Missouri is already 1-0 vs. the OVC this season with a win over SIUE (83-69) in the season-opener.
> A victory on Tuesday would allow the Tigers to be 7-1 (or better) for three consecutive seasons and for the fourth time in five campaigns dating back to 2008-09.
> Tuesday's game continues a quick stretch of three games in seven days before a break for semester finals ... The Tigers cap that stretch on Saturday vs. Tennessee State (Dec. 8) and then don't return to action until Dec. 17 vs. South Carolina State ... Tiger fans will get to enjoy a new face for that South Carolina State contest, as transfer Jabari Brown joins the roster.
> Missouri continues to be one of the country's top rebounding teams ... Mizzou ranks No. 5 nationally with 44.6 rebounds per game and its 16.1 offensive caroms per night ranks among the Top 25 nationally ... The Tigers are also among the Top 25 nationally with a +10.6 rebounding margin.
> Fueling that rebounding margin is the fact three Tigers have multiple point-rebound double-doubles this year ... Alex Oriakhi, Earnest Ross and Laurence Bowers each have a pair of double-doubles this season, including two by Bowers during the recent trip to the Battle 4 Atlantis ... Ross narrowly missed his third double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds vs. Appalachian State.
> Bowers is coming off a career high 23 points in the win over Appalachian State ... Bowers scored 12 of Missouri's first-14 points and finished 9-of-11 from the floor with a career high tying three three-point makes.
> Missouri got a season high 26 points from its bench on Saturday ... Both Keion Bell (12) and Tony Criswell (10) reached double figures ... It was Criswell's first double-figure scoring game as a Tiger and Bell added six rebounds, four assists and three steals in 25 minutes.

> Bell is averaging 12.0 points per game since coming off the bench over his last two games and his minutes are up to 23.5 mpg as well during that stretch.
> Despite having so many newcomers, Mizzou has been balanced through seven games with eight players averaging at least 9.1 minutes a contest ... Seven different Tigers have also reached double figures in scoring in a game this season and seven different Tigers have recorded at least 7+ boards in a game, with four different players reaching double figures in rebounding as well.
< > Missouri has won 69 consecutive regular-season, non-conference home games since 2005-06 and since 2006-07 (62-0) the club's margin of victory has been 26.4 points in those non-league home tilts.

> MU also won 20+ in four consecutive years from 1988-92 and 1979-83.
> Haith's 2011-12 offense was known for its efficiency and the early returns are good this season as well ... Missouri is averaging 1.21 points per possession this year, despite shooting just 44 percent from the floor.
> Missouri was college basketball's most efficient offensive club a year ago (according to KenPom.com) ... And how about this for an exciting SEC schedule, Kentucky was ranked No. 2 and Florida was No. 3.
> Frank Haith's offense also ranked No. 1 nationally in field goal percentage (.504), assist/turnover ratio (1.6) and among the Top 10 in scoring (6th - 80.4), scoring margin (5th - 14.1), three-point percentage (9th - .398), turnovers (5th - 10.2) and turnover margin (7th - 4.1).

> Missouri begins its first season of play in the Southeastern Conference ... League play officially begins on Jan. 8, 2013, vs. Alabama ... That game is actually the official opener to the 2013 SEC season.
> Mizzou got an early start to its 2012-13 campaign, playing five games in Europe from Aug. 8-18 ... However none of Missouri's current players saw action overseas, proving to be a great opportunity for the MU newcomers to get extended playing time.
> The Tigers played games in Amsterdam, Belgium and France.
> Missouri will be seen on TV like never before thanks to the move to the SEC ... The Tigers will have a school record 18 games appearing on national TV during the regular season.
> Missouri has been ranked in the Top 25 by a number of media outlets, including the Associated Press (No. 16) and the USA Today Coaches' polls (No. 15) ... The Top ranking came courtesy of The Sporting News, which picked Missouri No. 10 in the nation.
