> Missouri used 11 3-point field goals to propel the team to an 81-63 win over Mercer in the first game of the Progressive CBE Classic regional rounds on Nov. 14 ... Sophomore Phil Pressey notched a career high 22 points to lead the Tigers.
> Mizzou is making a record fourth appearance in the CBE Classic (2001, 2004 and 2007), which was previously known as the Guardians Classic ... The Tigers won the event in 2001 ... Monday's win over Mercer improved MU's all-time wins record in the event to 10 ... Mizzou now owns a 10-3 all-time mark in the Classic.
> The Tigers 11 3-pointers on the night on 11-of-22 shooting from beyond the arc against Mercer on Nov. 14, which were the most since the team had 12 against North Alabama on Jan. 5 of last year ... Additionally, the game marked the first time Mizzou shot at least 50 percent from three since Dec. 18 of last year, when the team made 13-of-26 against Central Arkansas.
> Senior Kim English is shooting 60.0 percent from behind the arc in MU's first two games ... The nine made treys ties him with Paul O'Liney for the most in the first two games of the season ... His average of 4.5 3-point field goals made per game ranks second in the Big 12 so far ... If he makes three treys tonight he will at least tie O'Liney for the most in the first three games.
> Mizzou puts its 60-game non-conference home court winning streak on the line tonight ... The run, which dates back to the 2005-06 campaign, is a school record, topping the 29 consecutive non-conference home wins from 1979-83 ... That streak ended with an overtime loss to Marquette ... Missouri's last non-conference loss at home came against Sam Houston State in the 2005-06 season opener.
> Missouri moved up to #24 in the AP Top 25 poll this week and remained #25 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll. The Tigers entered 2010-11 ranked #25 in both polls to start the year... Last season marked the first year that the Tigers were ranked in the preseason since 2003-04 ... Missouri opened the year #5 in 2003-04, the highest preseason ranking in school history.

> The Tigers head to Kansas City for the CBE Classic on Monday, Nov. 21 to face Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m. Mizzou then will either face Cal or Georgia on Tuesday, Nov. 22 in either the championship (9:30 p.m.) or consolation game (6:45 p.m.).
> Tonight's game between the Tigers and Purple Eagles is the first-ever meeting between the teams ... Mizzou is a perfect 3-0 all-time against teams from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
> Mizzou looks to improve to 3-0 for the third consecutive season and the fifth time in the last six years.
> The Tigers are shooting an impressive 44.7 percent from behind the arc in their first two games, which ranks second among Big 12 Conference schools.
> After swiping just seven steals in the season opener, MU doubled that total with 14 against Mercer ... Sophomore Phil Pressey led the way with five nabs, one off his career high.
> Sophomore Phil Pressey was fantastic on the offensive end against Mercer on Nov. 14 ... The guard posted a career high 22 points after shooting 6-of-11 from the floor, 3-of-6 from behind the arc and 7-of-8 from the charity stripe ... The total bested his previous high of 17 set at Kansas last season.
> Senior Kim English leads the Tigers with 18.5 points in the first two games after outputs of 19 (SEMO) and 18 (Mercer) points ... That marked the first time since early in his sophomore season the guard posted at least 18 points on back-to-back games, after accomplishing the feat against Illinois on Dec. 23, 2009 (24 points) and Austin Peay on Dec. 27, 2009 (23 points).
> Seniors Marcus Denmon and Kim English continue to move up Missouri's all-time scoring list ... Denmon now has 1,188 in his career, which ties him with Bob Reiter for 28th ... English stands at 1,100 points, good for 33rd place ... The two surpassed the 1,000 point mark in 2010-11
> Missouri has typically played some tough schedules over the years and that trend continues in 2011-12 ... After the release of the preseason polls, Mizzou will have 11 games against teams ranked receiving votes in the preseason AP top 25 and ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll... Included in that list are #12 Baylor, #13 Kansas, #19/20 Texas A&M, #24 California, Texas, Illinois, and Notre Dame.
> Senior Laurence Bowers will be forced to redshirt the 2011-12 season after suffering a season-ending knee injury (ACL) in October ... Bowers averaged 11.6 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.8 blocks a year ago.
> This year's seniors mark the winningest class in Missouri Basketball program history...The team's 77 wins over the last three seasons mark the most in a three-year stretch at Mizzou...The Tiger clubs from 1980-83 and 1988-91 won 75 games over a three-year stretch ... The class now has a record of 79-29.
>The Tigers recorded 23+ wins in each of the last three campaigns for the first time in program history...Mizzou won 31 games in 2008-09 and went 23-11 in 2009-10 and 2010-11.
>Missouri recorded it's 1,500th win in program history last season when the the Tigers triumphed over Texas Tech 88-84 in the Big 12 Tournament...Mizzou finished the season 23-11 overall, 1,500-1,039 all-time.
