Columbia, Mo. - Here is a quick recap at the week that was for three former Missouri Tigers now playing in the National Basketball Association.

Kim English
Kim English began his NBA career with the youthful Detroit Pistons (0-3) last week and averaged 16.7 minutes in games against Houston, Phoenix and the Los Angeles Lakers.

One of the first Pistons off the bench each game, English recorded eight points, three assists and two steals in a 105-96 loss to Houston in the season opener. The Baltimore native hit back-to-back treys in the second half and has seen his playing time increase each game.

English played 16 minutes at Phoenix and dished two more assists and then played 20 minutes at LA, hitting 2-of-4 treys and a pair of free throws.

English is currently averaging 5.3 points and is shooting 44.4 percent (4-of-9) from beyond the arc.

DeMarre Carroll
DeMarre Carroll has played in three games for Utah and is averaging 3.0 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.7 steals for the Jazz (1-2).

Carroll scored five points in 16 minutes in the opener against Dallas (W, 113-94) and dropped in four points in a narrow road loss at New Orleans (L, 88-86). His most recent game came at San Antonio when he had a pair of steals in a 110-100 loss to the Spurs.
