Mizzou Basketball To Show Football Game Following Exhibition Opener

Saturday is shaping up to be a busy day of competition for the University of Missouri and fans traveling to Columbia for the Men's Basketball exhibition opener against the University of Missouri-St. Louis are encouraged to remain inside Mizzou Arena to watch their No. 9-ranked Tiger Football program face the Colorado Buffaloes at 5:30 p.m. in Boulder, Colo.
Missouri Basketball's contest is scheduled to tip off at 3 p.m. and the Tiger gridiron contest will be aired shortly after the game's completion on the Mizzou Arena video boards. Concession stands will remain open and fans not attending Saturday's basketball game can enter Mizzou Arena free of charge after the completion of the game. Late-arriving fans are encouraged to enter Mizzou Arena on the north side of the facility (Faurot Field side), however tickets for the exhibition opener are available for purchase through the Mizzou Athletics Ticket Office by calling 1-800-CAT-PAWS.
Tiger hoops fans anxious to get an early-season look at their 2007-08 squad can do so at the annual Black & Gold Game on Tuesday (Oct. 30) at 7 p.m. Admission to the Black & Gold Game is just $5 and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Coaches vs. Cancer and the Boys & Girls Club of Mid-Missouri. Doors to the Black & Gold Game open at 6 p.m. and members of the 2007-08 squad will be available to sign autographs as fans enter the building.
