Kim English scored a game high 32 points and freshman Michael Dixon added 22 as Mizzou Black (coached by Missouri Governor Jay Nixon) earned a 91-82 victory over Mizzou Gold (coached by University of Missouri System President Gary Forsee) Friday night at the annual Black & Gold Game at Mizzou Arena.

The Black got 73 of its 91 points from the perimeter trio of English, Dixon and senior guard Zaire Taylor (19 points) and the club rallied from a 58-50 halftime deficit to outscore their opponents 41-24 in the final period.

Missouri Gold was led by sophomore guard Miguel Paul, who poured in 19 points. Paul had actually missed practice all week with the flu, but hit 7-of-9 shots from the floor, while ripping away four steals. Laurence Bowers was Missouri's top post scorer, logging 16 tallies and a game high nine rebounds, while Justin Safford chipped in 14 points, four assists and six boards.

Missouri returns to action on Nov. 6 in its exhibition opener. The Tigers host Truman State University at 7 p.m. and the contest will be aired on the Tiger Radio Network and will be televised on the Mizzou Sports Network.
